Sometimes when I'm sick and really hurting I absorb things in a completely irrational way.
I was just informed that the North Domingo Baca Center is closed this week for cleaning. I am so sorry for any inconvenience this causes. Hopefully everyone gets the alert before they try to go. we are instead meeting at Khoo Wellness 8338 Comanche rd. 87110 from 1-3PM.
I hope this will not deter anyone from coming and I am very sorry I did not know they were closing.
If you have any questions please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Hey all its that time again! See you this Tuesday from 1-3 at the North Domingo Baca Multigenerational Center for our monthly support group meeting.
When I got divorced I decided to change my name, not just take back my maiden name.
Today I had one of those truly awful appointments. Where you leave red-faced and in tears feeling like you took ten huge steps backward.
A lot of us came to our fibromyalgia diagnosis after trauma, Injury, Illness, Abuse and sometimes lifelong trauma. PTSD may play a role in the development of Fibromyalgia.
I can't believe a month has already passed! Just a quick reminder that our Monthly meeting is this Tuesday from 1-3 at the North Domingo Baca Multi Generational Center.
Hope to see you all there! have a happy Fourth of July weekend.
People are so strange. One of the weirder things that happens when people find out you have a pain condition is to apologize for their pain.
I loathe this phrase. This well-meaning but ultimately belittling phrase.
Ok guys; really, in a match between me and my fitted sheet, the sheet wins every time. Tap. Tap.
Sometimes we hear a story and it seems an echo of your life, everytime I meet an new Fibromyalgia or Chronic Fatigue sufferer there is some part of their story, their process that echoes my own. Fibromyalgia affects every person differently and yet we can all recognize certain things in each other, not just physical traumas, but emotional ones too. Stages of our illness that seem so clearly defined.
Hey everyone it's that time again! Our monthly support group meeting this Tuesday at the North Domingo Baca Multigenerational Center from 1-3pm. Come out and join us. I have a very interesting and informative session planned for us and I can't wait to see you all there! If you have a spouse that is willing to come I think this would be a good time to join us, so encourage your spouse or caregiver or closest friend to join us!
I had one of the moments today when I realized our minds work in totally bizarre ways and I wonder if in this way mine is not the "normal" point of view.
Because it's so apt.
We struggle sometimes to make our illness visible to others, Awareness day is about educating and introducing our illness to our friends, family, and others in our community. it's not easy to show people what Fibromyalgia is like and because it is different for every person it's also hard to define.
Hope you all have a happy and supported Fibromyalgia Awareness Day. If you wore your purple today you are a rock star! Thanks to everyone who remembers us on this day. We love you!
Ok guys I was a bit off my game this month. Sorry for the late minutes.
This month went by really fast for me, I can't believe it's already group time!!!
Tuesday May 3rd from 1-3 PM at the North Domingo Baca Multigenerational Center.
See you there!
I'm referring to the wind, maybe.
It's funny how much people like their definitions, how once something has been said it is decided.
